为弘扬中华民族优秀的传统文化，全面展示馆藏文房清供精华，我们分作四德春秋、墨润飞香、纸寿千年、砚田墨海和杂宝诸陈五个单元来陈列文人的书画工具和清供实物。并透过文物本身折射出文人的优雅生活和审美情趣，以及掌控文玩进行创作的高深造诣。让观众体会文人创作艺术品之儒雅，这些文房器具蕴含了中国文人在文化和艺术方面的才华。在展厅中还通过不同文房景观及古人进行书画交流活动的绘画作品再现文人创作的环境。
    此次展出天津博物馆珍藏的文房清供精品340余件套，大部分是文人书房用具以及陈设器物或书画作品。其材质丰富，雕刻细腻，制作精巧，鬼斧神工，寓意吉祥，渗透了能工巧匠的聪明与智慧，展示了中国传统工艺制作的水平和书斋文化的历史。
Miscellaneous Treasures of the Study（器蕴才华——文房清供系列）
The rich variety of treasures of the study, as well as the works created by Chinese painters and calligraphers, are displayed here in five units, as an endeavor to showcase and carry forward the fine cultural traditions of the Chinese nation. From these cultural relics and works of art are seen the elegance of life of the literati, those men of letters and scholars, their aesthetic values and perceptions, their amazing attainments in art, as well as the historical backdrops underlying their artistic creation and writing.

More than 340 exquisite treasures are exhibited in Tianjin Museum, most of which were for use in the scholar’s study, as ornaments, paintings or calligraphic works. Appreciated either for the rich variety of materials or the consummate sculptural skills or the excellent workmanship, each and every exhibit has successfully demonstrated the wisdom and intelligence of the master artisans and the scholarly figures, which has in turn served as a mirror of history of the “study culture” and the high level of the handicraft art of old China.
